- Several pictures of the area's you
wish to develop would help in the design
process.
- Check to be sure that all measurements
and specifications are clearly legible
on the copy.
- Pencil in any unclear measurements,
other buildings,structures, fencing, large
trees, and any other items that are not
shown on the survey copy. Again, pictures
would be very helpful.
- The following are very important and
must be included with the copy of your
survey:
- Direction your house faces.
- Growing or hardiness zone.

Outside of the
U.S.A. check your version of hardiness
zones with your farm bureau or agricultural
service.
- Soil characteristics, to include,
type (i.e. sandy, loamy, or clay,
and, drainage).
- Point out any unique natural or
un-natural features or obstacles on
your property. ( i.e., sloping terrain,
cesspools/dry wells, wooded areas,
heavily trafficked areas, etc.)
- Let Garden Embroidery know your preferences
in regard to favorite colors, flowers,
or types of gardens. If you wish, Garden
Embroidery can help with this process.

- Make several copies of your survey.
- Onto 3 of the copies we will superimpose
a different and detailed garden design.
- The 3 individual plans will be sent
back to you for your selection of one
or a combination of the different designs.
- NOTE! You
are still responsible for payment
of these three original designs whether
they meet your approval or not.
- For an additional fee, Garden Embroidery
will provide additional, different plans,

- The designs we offer are simple but
very precise. They are done in black and
white. The details provided, such as planting
materials and instructions, are based
on a combination of information from you,
the client, and Garden Embroidery's knowledge
acquired during many years of experience
in Horticulture.
